When the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, 15 and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), 16 that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho.

Joshua 3:14-16

We stand at a pivotal moment in the history of our church — an opportune time to launch us forward. We believe that in building a new facility,

we aren’t just building a church but we are reaching beyond ourselves to build the Kingdom of God.

When God used Moses to deliver the Israelites from Egypt, they stepped out in faith and saw God show up in miraculous provision and blessing.

Yet, it was up to the next generation to step out in faith again to enter into the Promise Land.

Thank you for being a part of what God is doing at Providence Church. We pray you will take a step of faith and join our family and me as we look

forward to all that God has for Providence Church and Southwest Georgia. The best is yet to come!
